What control are you using (ARGO)

I use a ton of the ARGO controls...aht one are you using?0 -
Just drop one wire......
There are two three wire systems out there. There was the old series 10 was used before they put heat antisapaters in the thermostats a cerramic disk heater was in the thermostat. W&B was the contact circuit and R supplied power to the heater. On this drop the Red
Then you had a zone valve set up like the Flair. It was power open and power closed. It did not have a close spring. They used the cooling contact of the thermostat to close. You drop the power close wire. Don't remember the code but I think Rwas the line and W was power open.There was an error rendering this rich post.
