Wood Stove Fan Control

Hey all,

Not a steam or HW topic, but a control topic just the same that many here may have dealt with.

History: Had a 50 yr old oil fired hot furnace with an add-on wood stove ducted into the SA plenum. The stove had a Honeywell L4064B controller for the stove Plenum Fan and the stove Draft Induction fan. Additionally, there was a wall mounted, line voltage Tstat that would allow the fans to run when heat was called for.

Problem: I replaced the oil-fired with a new gas fired furnace and I am trying to get the control wiring for the stove reconnected, but I did not sketch the existing config and the diros I find online do not seem to work (I am obviously doing something wrong).

How it used to work: Light the fire, get it nice and warm, turn up the tstat to a desired set point, the plenum fan comes on, then (if I understand correctly), as the temp drops, the draft induction fan kicks on to try and keep the fire hot.

I will try and post a schematic from Hwell, if I can find one small enough.

Woodstove Fan

The stove is an older box-type stove located in the basement. It has a hot air plenum on top that is ducted into the SA plenum of the gas fired hot air furnace. The stove has a plenum circ fan and a draft induction fan, both controlled off of an older Honeywell L4064B controller and a wall mounted Honeywell Line Voltage Tstat. I just can not recall how it was wired up. I have tried a few different scenarios, but they have limited success..
