a different burner, you can't change an F to a BF.Riello is introducing a redesigned cover for the F series with provision for adapting to outside air. Although removing the outside air connector every time you remove the cover will make setup fun!

Riello F3 to BF3
I the only difference between a F3 and BF the Airbox??
I have an F3 on my Biasi B10-3 now and I have significantly increased the air sealing of the house and would like to pipe outside air in. Can I just have the Airbox put on and piped in, or do I need a whole new burner??
Does anyone know the part number of the Airbox??
Thanks0 -
Actually
I had a beat up BF3 and swapped the cover with a newer used F3 . I had to bend the oil line adapters a funky way to get them to go out of the cover , but it worked . You also lose the capacity to tune the air damper with the cover on , but that ain't too bad .0 -
Ron
you put the F3 in the BF cover?

Yes I did
I inherited a used BF3 5 or 6 years ago . I decided to rebuild the whole burner 2 years ago with the guts of a newer F3 . The 2 top holes where the oil lines come out are not exactly air tight , but otherwise it works fine . No post purge though .
No need for any extra parts either - everything was interchangeable . Except the oil line adapter pieces , but they can be bent to work for you .0
