Does anybody happen to know if i would be allowed to put a 50 gallon power vented direct vent water heater in a commercial building.I believe there has to be a special rating.

The application this is going to be used for is a commercial building needing a water heater with a make up air built in to it.The price of a commercial water heater is alot higher. I only need a 50 gallon for some metering faucets and some hose bibbs.0 -
I think it is fine
I looked into this several years ago and answer was that it is just fine. The only thing is the warranty is changed from maybe 6yrs to 1 yr is the only change I remember.0 -
warranty
Just bare in mind - that a res tank in com location voids the warranty. Make sure you make your customer aware of this.
