some oven thermometers have this range and could be checked for accuracy and more important have a nice large face [made by taylor ,i think ]--nbc

    Hi All,
    I need a short probe (2") dial type thermometer(~400*F)to permanently mount in a gas-fired boiler's flue pipe(3"SS).
    Do any of you fine folks have a link to such an instrument? Also, it would need to be of good quality,not the wood stove variety.
