standing pilot conversion

Options
with module, wiring harness, gas valve and pilot conversion hardware for a complete job. They also include very simple installation procedures and wiring. The existing 24 volt valve will not work with the kits as they are intermittent ignition and require seperate feed to the PV valve and then the MV valve

standing pilot conversion to intermittent ignition

Have a customer that has a 20 year old hydrotherm gas boiler with standing pilot. Everything is in good working condition, but he wants to tweek more efficiency from the existing system without a new boiler. My question is, does this conversion require a new gas valve as well as the module and ignitor, or does the module work with the existing 24volt gas valve?

    EI

Larry , back at a time when electronic ignition and dampers were optional . EI only boosted efficionary 1-2% wereas a damper was figured at 6-7% . Most ignition mod.s have plug in's for dampers. This would be more of a benifit to your custemer.
