leaking circ pump

I would think the oxygen brought in with make-up water would be more than any air the circ is taking in...if any.

if a circ pump is leaking at the shaft, and the system has normal pressure, can the leak at the shaft cause the system to take air at that leak?0 -
old circs actually were designed ...
to leak a small bit of water through the packing around the shaft, how many HP is the pump?0 -
i've heard that also
but i don't think that this pump is one of those, or at least, i didn't find that on the b&g site. but they also didn't list a 2.5x7
hp? i didn't jot it down, but it's a b&g series 80, 2.5x7, 90gpm, 30ft head0
