leaking circ pump

I would think the oxygen brought in with make-up water would be more than any air the circ is taking in...if any.

    leaking circ pump

    if a circ pump is leaking at the shaft, and the system has normal pressure, can the leak at the shaft cause the system to take air at that leak?

    old circs actually were designed ...

    to leak a small bit of water through the packing around the shaft, how many HP is the pump?

    i've heard that also

    but i don't think that this pump is one of those, or at least, i didn't find that on the b&g site. but they also didn't list a 2.5x7

    hp? i didn't jot it down, but it's a b&g series 80, 2.5x7, 90gpm, 30ft head
