fluctuating temperature in a steam heating system
Is it really not a good idea to keep changing the temperature on a steam heating system? I heard this from a pro. I purchased a digital thermostat and set the tempearature to 60F during the day since nobody's home anyway and set the it to 68F at night until we go to sleep. Am I really saving energy by doing this? Is it going to affect the overall performance of the system? What's the ideal lowest temperature I can set the thermostat?0 -
I'm curious about this too...
