vaughn indirect aquastat

Does anyone know off hand the cost of the tpi thermostat that comes with the top performer indirect's? Just wondering , because an installer at the company I work for does not install these thermostats with the tank! Not sure what he does with them but he installs a 4006 single aquastat instead. I guess having to add an extra 2 wires for 24v is too much for him really not sure.

    Burnham Version

    I have used the new Burnham Alliance which is the same thing and I really like the control, it is a lot more accurate than the L4006. I believe they are also less money than the L4006
