ModCon Trademark

have to have a talk with HTP. Thanx to the Wall, I believe that if I check the archives, it will show that I used that term in reference to boilers first.

Though they should be careful, as that thread showed that the term has been out there for a long while and it references extreme body modifications! (try googling the term, you will be disgusted!)!

Actually, just googled the term, and there are a lot of usages for modcon. This could get very interesting!

PS - here is a site that also has a trademark on modcon -

    Trademark

Someone at HTP has their thinking cap on. ModCon is getting to be a generic term like Kleenex. Trademarking that kind of familiarity will be a bonus for them I would bet.

I Agree - that cat's been long out of the bag

It's too late to make the trademark stick.

ModCon in several forms has been in popular usage already.

All it really means is that HTP will loose their shirt in court someday.

    Hrmmmm...

Google taught me a while ago that there is more than one meaning to modcon - as a result I much prefer MCB...

    www.modcon.org - self-mutilation or body art? doesn't matter

HTP owns the trademark - lucky them. L
