Can PVC replace steel in a buried leaking condesate line?

I'd use copper there. PVC/ABS can't take the heat.

    leaking condensate line

    Can I use PVC or ABS instead of steel to replace a buried condensate line that is leaking and needs to replaced?

    NO ------ if its a wet return it sometimes can be done in copper

    Is 3/4\" copper ok?

    Is 3/4" copper okay or match the size of the condensate line at 1" or 1-1/4"?

    Why are you trying to cut corners so much? Of course you should replace the existing pipe with one of equal size. The reason that 1 1/4" is there now is because that's what is needed. If they needed 3/4 originally they would have put. . . 3/4.
