    What is it??

    This photo was sent to me. I'm planning on repiping it prim/sec. What is the black thing coming off of the boiler supply? I zoomed in and I think the tag says HTP.

    It is indeed an air vent

    HTP included them with the Munchkins for a while IIRC. I have a couple laying around the shop as I usually used a Spirovent or equivalent on our installs.

    A re-pipe is a good thing for that boiler! Definitely not correct per factory recommendations. The circs need to be flowing toward the boiler and away from your PONPC.
