How to heat the Basement

I have a one pipe steam system. All the pipes are insulated only the boiler room is warm in the winter the rest of the basement can get pretty cold. Was thinking of putting electric radiant floor heat in and then tiling over it. Any ideas or experiences if this will work. I need to heat an area about 12 x 30, or should I try to re route the return by hooking up some baseboard to it. Don't know if that will throw off the heat I need and plus it won't have a thermostat. Thanks

A pro will help you take a hot water zone off the boiler to run BB or warm floor. It would be controled like any other zone, and be cheaper to run and more comfortable than electric. Electric feels OK on the feet, but likely would not heat the room(s)...
