The gauge on my steam boiler has no units marked, just numbers. Going clockwise starting at the 8 oclock position the dial reads 30, 20, 10, 0, 10, 20, 30, 40 and so on. I assume that below zero (left) is vacuum and the other is pressure. Can anyone tell me what the units are? I'm confused because I thought I read an article on this forum saying you only need about 2 lbs of steam.
Thanks in advance.
