Kudos to MSU. NMU was eliminated way back when. I live in Marquette, and it's been snowing & blowing snow last Wednesday. Getting tired of clearing out the driveway. Oh well, Happy Easter anyway!

    Sorry all you BAAAAAAAAAASTIN College slappies, my beloved Michigan State Spartans are newly crowned kings of college hockey. Dang, I shoulda bet Scottie some lobsta and chowda.

    Hockey notwithstanding

    The word frozen caught my attention. It has been snowing all week here and the temp hardly got out of the teens today. We need Al Gore up here with a snow shovel! Places in da UP have gotten over 3 FEET of snow in the last week. C'mon, it's April!! The pond is freezing over again!

    They're champs only because Maine lost their goalie for the last part of the season......seriously thought, congrats to Michigan State. Seems we have a transplant their in your ladies BB coach......she's doing quite well too, I hear.

    I have to agree with you that Ms. Palumbo is doing a great job at MSU; she is a great coach.

    I must also say that I am very impressed with the level of hockey that is played in the Mid-West; they are some tough guys. I think that Herb Brooks would be proud.

    Growing up in Boston (and living in Maine) I am partial to Eastern hockey, but I have to give credit where credit is due.

    Oxymoron. Doesn't make sense!

    Maine lost because MS wanted it more. Was more physical in neutral zone, and "Big Ben" just can't react fast enough.

    Lerg is a true "David" vs. "Goliath".

    Maine got beat by a better prepared team (rematch might be different).

    Hockey East "RULES", but glad BC got handed, too!
