Yes, I am a guitar man

Would love to see that G3 line up. Have seen Satriani-amazing! Dream Theater is one of my favorites. If this show is close to me, I will go. Been going to live shows since 1972 when I saw Deep Purple's Machine Head Tour...

    Guitar-izm

Always been a fan of the stylings of Satriani and Vai >>
Eddy Van Halen rocks too >> but ultimate kudo's goes to Geddy Lee, If you ever saw him live, singing while playing the bass in one hand, the keyboard in the other while using foot pedals, you know what I mean

    Neil's awesome tooooooo

    Eagles Fan..............

I play acoustic guitar due to the fact that I am not coordinated enough to play lead guitar, BUT a lot of great artists mentioned here. How about "Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush", Johney Winter, Skynard, and of course... Hendrix, and Ted Nugent.......Gotta love Ted. He was not the pioneer of the jam session, but he sure kept it going. My music vocabulary is very broad and I learn to play by ear which is a GOD give asset, but I cannot read note's...:-(

    Peace

" In the high school halls , in the shopping malls , re-set or be beat-down " ...( by the oil company , lol ).

Geddy is awesome...Rush may be the greatest rock band ever.

" The Wall " ( band name ) ...may be close to Rush..lol.

    Ovation six string...

Fender acoustic 12 string, folkie at heart, but lately a jazz head. Chuck Loeb, Acoustic Alchemy, George Benson, Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Justin Hayward. OK! The last two aren't real jazz heads, but they're in a class by themselves.

"seems that lately baby...got bad case of steam heatin' bluuuueess...OH YEAH!"

    confession

I like 1970's country players ...guys like Chet Atkins , Roy Clark , Jerry Reed ..to name a few.

Most music I listen to is only a half step or a whole step away from being something else anyway. There's only so many notes...just never too many notes.- Mike
