get a 3/4 X1/2 "T" and a small coin vent and one brass 1/2 X 1/8" FM sweat bushing.. tip it slightly to the interior of the room on the run...a jet vent would work also on the flat.. *~/:)

bleeding the lines
I installed a slant fin (water baseboard heating system) about a year ago.i recently had a repair on one of my radiators on the same system and no longer have heat on the slant fin.i assume its a problem with air in the lines on the slant fin because i bled all of my radiators and they are working fine. there is no bleeder valve on the slant fin and i have asked around and nobody seems to know if they make a bleeder type valve that you can sweat or attach directly to the supply line on the slant fin.Any input would be greatly appreciated.0 -
The cheap fix
is a saddle valve. It clamps to the pipe and the screw is turned. A hardened needle penetrates the pipe wall and allows air to bleed out (and water too but you expect that.)
This all falls in the category of "I ran out of ideas" though, but it does work.
Absent permanent vent tees (tees with a 1/8" capped MPT tapping) or baseboard tees (elbow with a 1/8" capped MPT on the heel), the only solution short of cutting them in is to purge the line.
Go get some hose and a bucket of good nature and borrow a raincoat. Not that bad really- just force water into the isolated circuit and out the drain. The velocity should be high enough to take the air with the water, out the drain valve. May need to be repeated but a good first round will get 95% of the raw air out.

How is it piped?
Jerry, how is it piped? That really determines your bleeding options for it.0 -

bleeding problem
I went off of steel piping and went down to 3/4" copper pipe the rest of the way.the copper pipe basically goes through the baseboard and radiates heat off of the fins while passsing through them.all i have to install a bleeder off of is basically the copper piping on either side of the baseboard even if i had to sweat one on.0
