controls for steam and baseboard together
This inquiry below is from the controls section of this site. Any suggestions guys? Putting steam and baseboard together is "over my head."

I installed a residential Burnham steam boiler w/an additional baseboard loop (below the water line) w/a Taco 007 and a 24v t-stat, I would like to have the baseboard loop fire independantly from the steam side, which kind of aquastat/and relay would you recommend, the boiler has a 24v gas valve and a vent damper. thanks for your input..Mike

all you need is an aquastat and a Taco 501 relay. The thermostat for the hot water zone wires to the relay. The aquastat, house thermostat and NO contact from the relay will wire to the TT on the gas valve. This may vary a little depending on the equipment, but that's the basic layout.0
