in THE MAIN WALL
I have been having difficulties with my gas fired boiler and am now going to have replace it--several holes caused by corrosion--boiler only 12 years old!!. I have been doing a bit of reading and am interested in what can do to check to see if my main vent (in the basement) is working properly.

    Do you radiators heat up around the same time or do they heat up one after the other ? If it's one after the other , you need to work on the main venting .


    Also fix the leaks , you don't want to ruin the new boiler.
