What is the best way to run a second oil line for a boiler or hot water heater? I have seen a tee installed in the present line but I am wondering if it would be better to install a second line that originates at the oil tank.

    2nd oil line

    it is always better to have separate oil lines and filters off the oil tank

    If it is for a water heater and they have a boiler,an indirect is the w3ay to go.
