yes the switch on ours can handle a 120V, 5 amp load. But I understand you should not mix 24 and 120V in the same wiring, by code.

You could use a valve with a 120V motor,and switch 120V with the end switch.

    Are zone valve end switches rated for 120 volts? Or low voltage only.
    Are these switches commonly used to break or make the hot on circulators?

    Depending on what you have they are generally used as a "Pilot Duty" type switch which is lo volt and you can break the complete circuit anywhere....

    Hope that answers your Q: Be careful if you are attempting to use 120 for a meaning less little value load such as a relay...It.s not the amps that can burn out the switch it's the possible short that can burn down the house.

    If you're using

    some models of Taco, the end switches are hooked up with the 24v coil, so in that case, no you couldn't use those for 120vac.

    It should say somewhere on the literature or the switch what the switch is rated at
