    Google Alert

    For the past year I've been getting daily news alerts from Google on anything involving HVAC or carbon monoxide. I heard a speaker talk about tracking your own business by setting up a Google Alert for the name of your business -- or even for your own name. So I decided to Google my name.

    It's good to know what other people are saying about you, especially with the emergence of web sites like complaints.com and ripoffreport.com where the entire Web can read about you and you wouldn't even know it.
