I am converting a 10 unit apartment with hydro air from a single boiler to individual units. The combicor water heater would be an ideal solution, except that I have heard they have longevity problems. Can anyone shed light on this? Are there any similar units on the marketplace? I would like to avoid going with a boiler and indirect due to low heat requirements, and cost.
Thanks,
Chris L

WH combo's
are still glass lined WH's with an internal HX made of PEX. WH last 6-10 years, so you have to compare the value of the added cost to the longevity. For hydro-air, don't you need higher temps? I think the simpler TT Delta that has a small storage tank for DHW would be better for apartments. Next would be the non-condensing wall hungs like Baxi Luna, etc.0
