Took two days to get 'er this far. Just have electric and 3 units to re-pipe. Fired it up today, and ran one circ with an extension cord to see it fly. Worked like a dream.

What gauge is the flue pipe you are using ? It appears to be very thin as it bent very easly when you screwed it. Is it thin or did you just have a hard time screwing it. I would be alittle concerned about all the gaps in it.
A nice install but maybe some thicker gauge sheet metal. Or did you not do the flue piping on the water heaters ?

Water heaters were this way when I bought it. I will re-vent them last, as the city housing inspector has passed them previously and my concern now is heat for the tenants. I think they used dryer duct...aluminum. I am using 30 gauge duct. Thanks for the heads up.
