Gas valve for 1932 gravity H/W system
is not a V155 motorized Honeywell valve? There is no direct replacement unless someone still has one sitting on the shelf. That is a series 10 system using a DPST thermostat.
There was also a V855 valve which is Series 80 SPST two wire.
Both are 24 volt systems soooo any 24 volt Honeywell, Robertshaw or White Rodgers valve will do.
UNLESS - it was the model that is connected to the valve train and air shutter system on a gas conversion burner made by MIDCO. In that case it will require an entire burner replacement.
Hope this helps you can e-mail me at gastc@cox.net or call 401-437-0557 if you have any questions.

obsolete gas valve?
Helping out a friend, original 1932 H/W gravity system works great (very inefficient)the problem is with the gas valve. It's an 1 1/4" honeywell #(VO55A3C9)need either repair kit or replacement valve #. It leaks from head when burners are on.0 -
