    curvo pics

This is a job that I just finished yesterday. I just love using the curvo and mupro clamps. Does anyone know were I can get Mupro style clamps now that Mupro is leaving the U.S.? I dont know if I can go back to strut and strut clamps.

What the heck? What's that green thing with the air vent at the top? I like the curvo. Who makes it and where do I get one. ( I guess I thought only Hot Rod could use one) I see you used the taco mixing block. What a smart device. I haven't had an opportunity to use one but hopefully soon. The new one with the built in flat plate HX looks REAL useful. Looks good for small jobs where you can extract heat form the water heater for a radiant floor. WW

    Looks like a great tool...

Considering how much trouble some people seem to have finding Pro-Press fittings, minimizing fittings like this seems like a great time saver (finding fittings) and potentially money-saver as well.

Neat system, BTW, with the boiler in one location, the IDWH in another, and the manifold in a third. Are those Earthlee headers? I also like the LLH and the way you put thermal traps on the return side. I presume that the FPHX is for a snow-melt system?

The Mupro-clamps and the very neat electrical work are the icing on the cake. Great install!

The green thing in the corner is a Caleffi Hydro separator.
I guess others may call it a low loss header. I love using them. It also comes with a insulated jacket for it.

    Real fine work, Jake

the Curvo and Press fittings go together like a horse and carriage :)

Count up how many fittings and solder joints you saved yourself on that install!

Shook is an authorized importer of Rems Tools. It is my understanding that the west coast mupro operation has closed, Call 800 354 9792 for Rems information and pricing.

    Rems Tools

Can you simply purchase expanding heads for Wirsbo fittings and Pro-Press heads for Rigid pro-press fittings for the rems Accu-press Cordless gun?
