a few months back...GA124 w. Logamatic and the RTU...The customer has been very pleased...one little issue is the fact that during the day the house seemes to over heat and at night the house seems to over cool even though the homeownwer wants to maintain 70 all the time. It almost apperas that day and night are mixed up...but the time is correct on the control....any thoughts? ty, kpc

Hello Kevin. I'm guessing that by 'RTU you mean room sensor? What is your room comp set to on the control? you should crank that up and turn the offset down. If you're not using the room sensor is it possible you have the control set to oa setback instead of setback? This would explain the cool temps at night because it won't power terminal 63 (pump for heat or pump relay)0 -
Ray....
yes I have the 2105 bfu sensor on the system...2107 has the room temp set @ 70. Outside air is set to 65 to go into wwsd.Outside senor is on the N.side of the house...kpc

I'm still curious as to what you have the offset and the room comp set to under heating curve one in the logomatic programming. And, also have you compared the 'roomtemp 1' tempeture readout on the logomatic to actual room temp to make sure they are correct? Sometimes either the sensors can go haywire, or you may have a high voltage line too close to the wire (unless it is shielded wire) which willl mess up the ohm's reading to the control.0 -
Thanks Ray
You are right on Ray. The "ROOM COMP" should be adjusted to a value of 15 to 18. This would allow the Room Sensor greater ability to adjust the system water temperature. I would not suggest adjusting the "OFFSET" just yet. Also check that is on "RMSETBACK" in the service level. Please contact us if there are any questions - 1-800-283-3787.0 -
