Round down!
51 rounds down to 48 or 4 ton.
41 rounds down to 36 or 3 ton.
21 rounds down to 18 or 1.5 ton.
Easy way to remember Lennox. Last digit is phase0 -

The Mod: HS16-511 as described is in fact a 4 ton, But what I call Heavy 4 ton. 51K being heavy,...you can work with the TXV to go between 4 and 5 ton with no problem and little adjustment. Althought it is a 10 SEER rated cond, lennox always like's to use TXV which I think is a great Idea...
PS Jonny Mills, You may be right on the last 2 numbers, but I thinking it reffers to the revision number. How many times the unit itself has be updated or modified??? I could be wrong...

The last digit in 511 is the phase. 513 would indicate 3 phase.
The last two digits in the model # indicate revision and voltage.0 -
Revision
Usually a dash- number is the revision number, like G16Q3-75-3 but as was confirmed, the number in the 511 or 513 is the phase.0
