I have some deposits on a 300 BHP boiler what would be the prefered method of cleaning this stuff off? I have read Dan's book, but i am only leary as to using one of those methods for a large two pipe system. If the general concensus here is go for it, i'll do it.
Could potentially in the future have to lay these up for a long time. they would be kept in place for emergency but they will be off line and valved off potentially for good. What lay-up proceedure do you recommend?0
