T/P chart?

know this is a simple question but where are the temp readings taken to compare to pressure? On both the high and lows sides. Thanks. I don't do any A/C work(obviously)I sub it out but have to at least be able to carry on an intelligent conversation

    Hello Robert

It depends on what temps you are referring too.Your saturation temps are taken at the same place as your guages.

Now if you're trying to find out where the refrigerant is in the system then you would have to take your refrigerant
temps. At the suction line at the condenser for total system superheat and at the outlet of the coil for coil superheat

For subcooling at the liquid line at the condenser and again at the inlet of the indoor coil.

Your best bet would be to go to books and more and buy some books from the Professor.Lots of great info to help you understand a closed loop refrigerant system and how to trouble shoot them.

    Good luck and welcome aboard.
