Marty Friedman is from DC ( guitar player on this tune ). I accomplished nothing today besides dealing with morons and mis-labled 480 volt circuits ( yeah , I get rattled by this ). And I get home and have to deal with my own moronic issues with my AC system ( it was supposed to be a temporary solution with the attic condensate pump , lol ). I never do this in customer jobs , but I did it in my own house....guess what I'll be doing this weekend , lol.

The title reminds me
of Barry McGuire's "Eve of Destruction".
And the band sounds much better than I remember them sounding, back in the day.

You can tell
he is strongly influenced by Metallica. That's not a bad thing, musicianship-wise. Metallica hit a peak with their "black album" a few years ago, and that video sounds as clean and tight as Metallica did on the black album. But now Metallica is covering Bob Seger's "Turn the Page"- sorry, James Hetfield can't pull that off like Seger does.
That had to be a day when you felt like you were caught in one of those glue traps....
