The Stoker's Catechism, by W. J. Connor, published 1906, is now available at Project Gutenberg. It is a question and answer look at how to supply coal and perform the other duties of a stoker of steam boilers in that era. It is freely available to readers in the United States; others should check the copyright laws in their own countries.
