the traps are there because someone added a feed tank and pump that probably wasn't needed.

    need some advise looked at a condo that has heating issues its 1 pipe steam and on the return piping someone had tees welded in and andded traps cant figure out what good the traps are doing since they are off to the side of the run for the return piping also there is a boiler feed tank so maybe thats why the traps were installed anyne have an idea
