Code or not when you vent near the "Exhaust"/ "Fart fan" /Dryer vent. Kitchen Exhaust you can have a Problem!.. say your dryer vent is stuck open, you leave the dryer door open, You have a negative pressure situation in the building i.e. a fan in the window, the Exhaust can be Drawn back into the Living paces and poison the occupiers. and yes there is such a code that states something about Vert. distance from mech.outlets not just inlets.

Venting a modine hot dawg heater. I know the specs for venting. but I always stop and think when I teminate close to a exhaust vent. Would like to know if anything is sated in the codes.0
