    bryant boilers

What is the reputations of bryant steam boilers? Are they just a good plain basic boiler?

Boilers for Carrier, Bryant, Lennox, Kenmore and many others were made by ECR International for years and painted different colors besides some other subtle changes.

I find it hard to believe they can be competetive very often being they are resold through Carrier/Bryant.
People such as Bryant added boilers to their line in order to offer a "complete" HVAC offering for dealers.

I took a look at dunkirk.com and the Bryant BS2 steam boiler looks to be the same as the Dunkirk Plymouth Steam 2 Series (PSB). So basically Dunkirk makes the same boiler and "repackages" or rebrands it as a carrier, bryant, lennox, kenmore etc... If so they should all basically be the same right?

I figure they are just low end, basic boilers. But how is the quality? Would the dunkirk/bryant steam boiler reliable?

    Thanks

More important is the install. The best boiler in the world wont work if installed wrong.

It is a basic quality boiler

Mike A is right on with the install comment, especially steam.
  • Nothing wrong with Dunkirk,

as Mike A says, its the install that makes the diff.
