Wet White Watery accumalation here in Central NY
  • Excellent kite weather here!

As long as you enjoy being dragged across the ground.

The "lake effect" folks are going to get pounded. They are used to it and never really speak of it. 10' of snow is a "normal" snow accumulation.

I'm further east. Right now the wind is howling and the snow coming down. No real accumulation to speak of yet, but the REAL stuff has not begun.

I have a date with a tree stand in a few hours.....we'll see what the morning brings us.

Say what you want, but it sure beats hurricanes.

    Snow melts.

    snow melts

Mark- I love that -You would fit right in here in Buffalo. People always comment on our heavy snow dumps. We say "It melts" They get mud slides, wild fires, hurricanes tornados, floods. draughts. Snow is easy. Good luck finding bambie. Pretty soon that will be illegal too, Enjoy it while you can.
  • Eh,,,

Lake effect snow is wussy stuff anyways. ;)

My kid was complaining about the cold this morning, I said, "It's all that global warming." She says, "What are you talking about? How is global warming causing this?" I said, "I don't know, you'll have to ask Al Gore."

I love messin' with the kid's head. LOL...

Wet snow and high winds broke a lot of tree limbs in NW NJ. A lot of people lost power and some won't have it back until tomorrow if things go well. Quite a few schools closed. The bus yard my wife works out of has no power. some of the areas they cover have no power and live wires are still hanging.
