You have alot of answers Dave, Thank-You. I'm trying hard to 'get it right the first time', (on paper). If I could afford a scanner, I'ld post my drawing and let you knowledgable folks critic it for mistakes. That would make me sleep better ;~)

Thermic Valve and TV Bypass Piping
I want to protect my boiler utilizing a Thermic valve (TV), on the primary return to the boiler. What is the proper locations to tee in across the primary loop when the primary circulator is on the supply side of the primary?0 -
If it`s a gravity
conversion I mount the circ pumping into the boiler(return) then the TV upstream of that. Check this out it should help you better understand what I`m saying.
I guess you could have the circ on the outlet side of the boiler(upstream of the TV), but as Brad White would say, "it then becomes a diverting valve".
