You can of course, do anything you want. If you build your own make sure to include isolation valves on each loop and a balancing valve on the return side. Flow meters are also nice to have if you want to dial the system in for proper flow. I think that once you go through the expense of adding those items to a home made manifold, you'll find that the cost of a factory made unit is pretty comparable. manifolds on a snow melt system
can i make my own manifold or does the manifold from the supplier need to be used? i guess what i'm asking is what is the perpose of the manifold other than a connection point for the feed and return loops ?0 -
Manifolds
There aren't many manifolds made specifically for slabs. We've been manufacturing these for a while. They are powder coated 304 stainless. This one had a custom cnc machined lid.
