Radiator Bolt

They sometimes used speical bolts that would crack or split. They prevented too much tension on the pinch rods and cast sections. I have to assume they were needed for the assembly .

    Do central heating radiators have a specialized bolt? If so, where is it used and what makes it special? Does it have a special size or material standards?
