in THE MAIN WALL
just a question
the testers available with a probe available at my local supply house, (mass area), would they be sufficient to check the heat exchangers on a warm air system, through the plenum?
and the reading should be 0...... correct?
no tolerance for any carbon monoxide ,, correct?

    Actually...Yes.

    You want the usually more expensive units that give you CO, %oxygen, Efficiency, stack temp etc.. I bought a Bachrack #60 for about 400.00 to 600.00 can't remember but I love it. What I like most is I can walk into a house after the insturment warm up and detect any CO reading. Yea you can put it in the air stream, but unless the crack is huge, the readings may be eronious.....I hpoe I spelled that right....:)
