Maid O Mist Vent

in THE MAIN WALL
How does one adjust Maid O Mist radiator vents on a steam heat system? It's a small knob on top of the vent. Do you leave it fully open, partially open or closed. It's a one pipe system with 5 radiators in line in one direction and 2 radiators in the other direction.

    hand tite. not an actual adjustment knob but an interchangeable device to balance system. every device has different size orifice
