as I understand it there have been problems with some of these fans, but the factory is doing a good job of supporting their units. They might also be able to give you some things to look for, so the fan won't fail again.

Fan replacement

I get to change out my first draft inducer fan in a munchkin m80 and I was wondering if there are any tricks or special tools needed to tackle this project.

If I remember correctly,...

There is an adjustable damper on the housing itself that has to be set to the correct differential pressure setting of the manufacturer. Take a quick look and see if you can see one...

revise

I should have said that the swirl plate is fixed. No adjustment there. The only thing that changes is the fan speed.
