My steam heating system will not stay on. Any suggestions?

Not enough information to go on by remote. Do NOT push that reset button again if you like your eyebrows.
Could be a number of things, few of which would be "do it yourself".

Igniters, draft, fuel filter... others will have far better suggestions, but I would rather you not undergo skin grafts.

    Steam heating system

    I have a steam heating system and it will not stay on. I press the reset button and it will go on momentarily and then shut off again. How can I get it to stay on???

    a lot of times a person calls and says they hit the reset and it runs a minute and shuts off if it is not ignitighting u r asking 4 trouble when i was a greenie i took a coustomers word said they hit the reset once or twice i had a stuffed up nose and did not smell any oil when i singed my eyebrows and the boom it was awesome scared the h'''' out of me and her she will always call a tech and so should u royboy(by the way she was on the phpne yellin at her hubby who confessed to hitting it 5 or 6 times and the transformer was bad never would have lit)
