as a cycle rate for hydroair/fan coils? I was thinking 3 cph would be good.
And 1 cph for radiant (underfloor)?

    Honeywell Chronotherm IV question

    We have Honeywell Chronotherm IV thermostats (model T8602D). I've noticed that they seem to short cycle alot. In one room that gets the least amount of sun, I hear the thermostat click on when the temp hits 68 degrees. The heat runs for a couple of minutes, and then shuts off (setting is for 68 degrees). Then a few minutes later, the thermostat will again click on at 68 degrees. Isn't there some type of differential/adjustable setting where the thermostat will wait a certain amount of time before turning on again? It seems odd that it is clicking on many times an hour.

    Cycle rate adjustment

    You can change the cycle rate on that thermostat without even having to remove it from the wall. See http://customer.honeywell.com/Techlit/Pdf/69-0000s/69-1510.pdf . Look in the Installer Setup section, page 5. You're interested in the heating cycle rate, option 4. You can set 1, 3, 6, or 9 cycles per hour. The lower the number, the longer the cycle.
