Water hammer sounds like a hammer. No mistaking that.

Is a ticking noise considered the same thing as "hammer?"
This is happening on the first cycle. If it is the same I'll refer to my pockets full of problems book.

I figured it was expansion noise. I just wanted to double check with the more expirienced.
Hasbro makes a great ticking hammer. My nephew drives me crazy with it.There was an error rendering this rich post.
