    Huntng for new accounts

Started my own HVAC service company in 2000. Its very tough trying to get new accounts. I tried all the books. It starts with the telephone. If has to start ringing in order to get leads. What can i do to stand out, get the telephone ringing and to start making some real money.

    Thank you

    Don't forget.....

the customers you all ready have. It's expensive and always a risk to get new customers. They could be just price shopping, looking for another sucker to stiff, etc. But you already have clients that, hopefully, pay promptly and value your service. Make sure you've asked them if there is ANYTHING you can do for them in addition to the services you provide them now. A bird in the hand....Try it you will be surprised, they have just been waiting for you to ask. Best Regards, TM202

    Another thought

At Honeywell .com there is a section where you can get free literature and mailing promotions for their products. Our job is to save the public money, and to help make them as comfortable as possible with new inovative products. Dont be shy when asking your customers to spread the word. After all that is on of the most powerful advertisements you can get,..."Word of mouth". It's tough and sometimes frustrating, but keep on keeping on.
