Removing Traps

Any tips on removing a radiator trap that has been in place for a very long time. I put a small pipe wrench on it an gave it a good amount of force but it didn't budge at all.

  you're trying to replace the entire trap, why not rebuild it instead? Trap caps come off nicely with an impact wrench, but you can't use one on pipe connections.....
