Found this on the Denver area Craigs List. Dated 1913. What do you think, coal or oil?

Or kerosene? Or gas (manufactured or natural)?
Our friend Larry Weingarten (sp?) can probably answer for sure.0 -
And the answer is...
... Gas. Edwin Ruud made gas fired heaters. The name tags said they used natural or manufactured gas. Perfection, Holyoke and others made kerosene fired heaters. Lots of manufacturers, including Sears made "scuttle-a-day" coal fired heaters. Austrian heaters used coal too... I'm still looking for one ;~)
Thanks, Mike for your high expectations.0
