    Here's wishing all of my friends here at The Wall a very Happy Easter. I hope you get to spend time with loved ones and give thanks to the many good things you have in your lives.

    My doctor gave me a clean bill of health today and I'm grateful for that -- a total check-up. I'm glad I'll be around to watch my kids grow up!

    (Now if only I could lose a few pounds!)

    Health and Long Life!

    A clean bill of health has a wonderful rippling effect, does it not? Take a long walk and enjoy the spring air!

    The few pounds? Eh. Bank account for the lean times. :)

    For me, a fellow that does not practice any organized religion, I still cannot help but find this time of year one of reflection and renewal. This week will have seen my Susan and I at a Passover Seder, Easter dinner, Easter morning egg hunt and assorted basket openings. Completely different origins but the common threads are clear.

    Common threads...

    The passover is a powerful cultural signpost.
    God instituted this for the Israelites and laid down the rules of the annual ritual. The lamb they partook of had to be perfect, without blemish- it died in their place and its blood would cover their sins. One day centuries later, a man called John the Baptist pointed to Jesus and said, "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world." We may miss the significace, but to those people, one sentence spoke volumes. Happy Easter everybody! Kevin
