    Thermal vs. On setting on valve

    Hello,

    I have a hot water system hooked up to an oil furnace that was previously working with gravity. Since then, circulating pumps were added.

    I now have unwanted circulation to only one radiator on the second floor directly above the furnace. Unfortunatlym this radiator is not equipped with any control valve. The circulation causes an overheat in the 2nd floor kitchen while the rest of the house is under heated. I have a valve installed close to the furnace and i attached a shot of it.

    My question, would changing the setting from "Thermal" to "On" on the Thrush valve solve my problem ?? And if not, what can i do

    It stopped

    Well good news !

    I played with the lever between the 2 settings and the flow has stopped !

    BTW, the valves were probably installed during the initial installation or maybe during the maintenance required for the addition.

    Anyway, problem solved !
